General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC)

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the sales of products offered on the website www.kami-paper.com as well as, where applicable, the services offered by K A M I.


2. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all orders placed by individual customers on the website www.kami-paper.com.

Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

The applicable GTC are those in force at the time the order is confirmed.


3. Products

K A M I offers a selection of carefully chosen items related to the world of paper, writing, and everyday life.

The products offered may include:

  • Japanese stationery;

  • notebooks, journals, and writing instruments;

  • journaling and creative accessories;

  • stickers, decorative tapes, and paper-related items;

  • candles and scented objects;

  • everyday objects and lifestyle accessories selected for their quality, aesthetics, and utility.

Each product is carefully selected and described with the utmost care to provide the most precise information possible.

However:

  • photographs may show slight differences from the actual product depending on screen settings;

  • some minor variations may exist for artisanal products, those made in small series, or those with a handmade character.

Products are offered subject to stock availability.


4. Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€).

The displayed prices include applicable taxes in accordance with current regulations.

K A M I reserves the right to modify its prices at any time.

Products are billed based on the price displayed at the time of order confirmation.

Delivery costs are indicated before final order confirmation.


5. Order

The customer selects the products they wish to purchase and adds them to their cart.

Before confirming the order, the customer can check its details, including:

  • the selected products;

  • the quantities;

  • the total price;

  • the delivery costs.

The order is confirmed after payment validation.

A summary email is then sent to the customer.

The sales contract is considered concluded upon acceptance of payment by the payment provider.

K A M I reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of:

  • payment issues;

  • suspicion of fraud;

  • obvious error regarding the displayed price;

  • exceptional unavailability of a product.

In such a case, the customer will be informed as soon as possible, and any sums paid will be fully refunded.


6. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon ordering.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • credit card;

  • PayPal.

Payments are secured via the payment providers used by the e-commerce platform.

Bank information is never stored or accessible by K A M I.


7. Delivery

Orders are shipped to:

  • Luxembourg;

  • France;

  • European Union.

Orders are generally prepared within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation.

For deliveries within Luxembourg, shipments may be made via Post Luxembourg.

For other destinations, the carrier is selected based on the delivery country.

Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the carrier, destination, or circumstances beyond K A M I's control.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information provided during the order.

Delivery costs are indicated during checkout.

Delivery may be free of charge from a certain purchase amount indicated on the website.


8. Receipt of Order

The customer is invited to check the condition of the package upon receipt.

In case of a damaged package or a product with an issue, the customer must contact K A M I as soon as possible at:

Photographs of the package or product may be requested to facilitate the processing of the request.


9. Transfer of Risk

In accordance with applicable regulations, the risk of loss or damage to products is transferred to the customer when they, or a third party designated by them, physically take possession of the products.


10. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with European consumer legislation, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal.

The customer does not have to justify their decision.

11. Return Conditions

Returned products must be:

  • new;

  • unused;

  • complete;

  • in their original packaging.

Returned products must be resalable in their original condition.

Return costs are borne by the customer, except in the case of a defective product or an order preparation error attributable to K A M I.


12. Refund

After receipt and verification of the returned product, K A M I will proceed with the refund via the same payment method used during the order.

The refund will be made within the deadlines provided by applicable regulations.

K A M I reserves the right to defer the refund until the product is recovered or proof of shipment of the return is received.


13. Legal Guarantee

Products sold by K A M I benefit from applicable legal guarantees, including:

  • the legal guarantee of conformity;

  • the guarantee against hidden defects of the sold item.

These guarantees apply independently of the right of withdrawal.

In case of a defective or non-conforming product, the customer is invited to contact K A M I at:

An appropriate solution will be proposed in accordance with applicable legal obligations.


14. Retention of Title

Products remain the property of K A M I until full payment of the order.


15. Intellectual Property

All elements present on the website www.kami-paper.com, including:

  • texts;

  • photographs;

  • logo;

  • graphic elements;

  • visual identity;

are protected by intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction or use without prior authorization is prohibited.


16. Personal Data

Personal data collected during orders is used only to:

  • process orders;

  • ensure their delivery;

  • manage customer relationships.

Data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

17. Force Majeure

K A M I cannot be held responsible for a delay or non-performance of its obligations when these result from an event beyond its control constituting a case of force majeure.


18. Severability

If a provision of these GTC is declared null or unenforceable, the other provisions shall remain fully applicable.


19. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These GTC are subject to Luxembourg law.

In case of difficulty or dispute, the customer is invited to first contact K A M I to seek an amicable solution.


This version is now much more aligned with the true identity of K A M I: it is no longer just a stationery shop, but a brand centered around paper, selected objects, and the art of daily living.
